A calm, trusted voice for patient education, healthcare design, senior living, and human-centered care.

Cheryl Janis in a warm editorial portrait

Positioning

Voice-over rooted in care, clarity, and lived industry fluency.

Cheryl brings more than a calming voice. As a longtime podcast host and producer, she has spent a decade interviewing healthcare architects, senior living designers, behavioral health specialists, pediatric care designers, product partners, and thought leaders shaping the spaces where people heal, live, work, and receive care.

Her voice-over work is grounded in the same sensitivity that shaped her earlier interior design practice: helping people feel safe, oriented, and supported through thoughtful environments.

About Cheryl

A calming voice shaped by listening, design, and care.

Before moving into voice-over, Cheryl worked as an interior designer known by clients as the "self-care interior designer," helping people create tea rooms, meditation rooms, quiet rooms, yoga rooms, and home spaces that supported nervous-system regulation.

That same sensitivity now informs her voice work: calm, clear, grounded, and attuned to how people receive information, especially in healthcare, pharma, senior living, and care environments.

As a podcast host, producer, and interviewer, Cheryl has spent years holding conversations with experts and translating complex ideas into accessible, human stories. Her voice has been described by guests, colleagues, clients, and friends as calming, trustworthy, and easy to listen to.
